Code of conduct
ebuzzing has drawn up this code of conduct to promote long-lasting cooperation between bloggers and advertisers, based on clear principles. The aim of this code of conduct is to define the basic principles which apply to writing sponsored articles via ebuzzing network and ebuzzing direct.
Following these principles will enable everyone – advertisers, bloggers and readers – to get the most out of this model.
If you have any suggestions, or want to comment on this code of conduct, please contact us by email at

Stay yourself
Your blog is a place to express yourself. It has its own style; what you’ve created reflects your personality, and your readers are familiar with it. So it’s crucial that the content of your site be consistent and genuine. If you have to change your style, or you can’t be honest or figure out a way to relay a campaign without going against your own editorial line, then don’t take part.
The ebuzzing model only works if your approach is based on creativity and honesty.
Be open
Your readers trust you and it's all important that they don't feel they're being cheated. So ebuzzing has adopted a policy of transparency in regard to the commercial nature of articles written as part of campaigns.
We therefore request that the disclaimer “sponsored Post” be included in your article.
This disclaimer makes it clear that the article has been written for commercial purposes, and enables the reader to obtain further information on its exact nature by going directly to the ebuzzing site.
This mention is automatically added to the article which you submit for validation through the ebuzzing interface. All you need to do is copy and paste the whole article into your blog.
Recommendation, not linking
It is ebuzzing’s intention never to mislead search engine algorithms by creating “artificial” popularity. We therefore automatically add the attribute rel=“no follow” to all links embedded in sponsored ebuzzing articles.
This attribute ensures that Google ignores the links when it crawls a page. We insist on the rel=“no follow” attribute in all articles because our service was not created in order to disseminate chained links, but rather sincere recommendations, and also because this practice ensures peace of mind for those bloggers concerned about their SEO status.
The attribute is added automatically, but we also check that the links created by our bloggers include the “no follow” attribute when validating posts. Our bloggers can therefore be certain that ebuzzing articles will not jeopardise their hard-earned search engine positions.
Back up what you say
We do not, under any circumstances, moderate articles on their own merits. However, we do require that you make a reasoned case for any criticism published, that any information given out must be checked, and that discussion in the comments on your article should remain open. Gratuitous or baseless assertions will not be validated.
Enjoy yourself
Writing a post should give you satisfaction and reading it should be enjoyable for your community. Only write when something inspires you, take the time to think about the subject, and include it in your blog in a natural way.
Remember the ABC of ebuzzing:
A successful campaign is one that suits the
Advertiser, the
Blogger and their
Community.
