So what is ebuzzing?
ebuzzing is a platform for bringing advertisers and bloggers together. It allows bloggers to monetise their blog: they earn money by blogging in support of (“relaying”) campaigns initiated by our advertisers.
ebuzzing is based on a simple principle: Like. Recommend. Earn. Bloggers thus earn money by creating posts about things they genuinely like and want to recommend to their readers, whilst advertisers create buzz for their products and services in the communities that will be interested in them.
For more information please consult our
introduction.
What do I get out of ebuzzing?
ebuzzing enables you to earn money by using all of your talent and creativity in regard to your blog, whilst retaining the integrity of your editorial voice.
The spirit of ebuzzing is positive. If you like it, you recommend it, and you earn at the same time. You’re paid for each article that you write. You get to showcase your expertise, and you get access to exclusive content which our advertisers make available. You, also get more traffic to your site, as the best articles are highlighted on our site.
All of this means that you make money from your blog, whilst creating enhanced content consistent with that which has gone before.

Can I register my blog on ebuzzing?
Any blog is accepted on ebuzzing, provided it meets certain conditions: it must have been up for at least three months, be regularly updated, be written in good English (it doesn’t have to read like a scholarly journal, though!), and not break any laws, nor any rules of decency (but a little imagination is fine...)
Read our
terms and conditions for
more detail about our criteria.
How do I register?
Just go to the
bloggers’ registration page
and fill in the necessary fields. You’ll then receive confirmation
of your registration by email, at which point you’ll be able
to access your ebuzzing blogger area. If you want to apply to relay campaigns, you then need to register a blog.
Can I register several blogs on ebuzzing?
Of course. If you run a number of blogs, you can register some or all
of them on a single account. Each blog has to be validated by ebuzzing.
Acceptance of one blog onto the programme does not mean that your other
blogs will automatically be validated.
Why do blogs have to be validated by the
ebuzzing team?
It’s not ebuzzing’s style to “judge” your blog,
but we do check that it meets certain criteria, so that we can have
a long-lasting cooperation with you. What criteria do we consider?
How long your blog has been up, how often it’s updated, the number
and the quality of comments, the number of inbound links and pages
indexed, etc. But there's no barrier to entry and we assess a blog
AS A WHOLE when considering it for validation. So go on,
submit
your blog!
What is a campaign?
A campaign is an operation that an advertiser launches which is made available to bloggers via ebuzzing. It has a defined start date, end date, budget and number of articles. An advertiser’s campaign is explained in a brief, then relayed by bloggers.
What is a brief?
The brief is a short note in which an advertiser sets out how a campaign
is to work. It describes the advertiser’s business, explains
how the campaign will run, specifies a few items such as graphic elements
available, links to be added in articles, the rules of any competition,
etc. You must read the brief carefully to have the best chance of getting
your article validated. Once you’ve read and understood the brief,
your creativity can take over!
What is an article?
An article is the content you create to relay a campaign. An article
can take various forms: authoring a post, putting out a video, entering
a competition and encouraging your readers to do the same, adding a
survey module... there’s no limit except for those set by the
advertiser. Be inventive!
What is the minimum payment for an article?
The minimum payment for an article is 10€. You can increase the price of campaigns you’re eligible for by influencing certain criteria about your blog: pages viewed, unique visits, page rank, number of comments etc.
You can also use ebuzzing direct and set your own price at which you will write articles.
Can I write several articles for a single
campaign?
You can only write one article per campaign, per blog.
If you have several blogs, you can write one article per blog, but each article must be different. You can’t copy and paste the same article into each of your blogs.
Can I say exactly what I want in my article?
We do not exercise any censorship over the opinions expressed, but we do watch out that all ideas expressed can be justified. It is important that articles reflect the author’s style, knowledge and creativity, but also that the campaign brief is followed and that the information is accurate.
Why do the posts I produce for a campaign
have to be validated by ebuzzing?
We will not censor content nor pass judgement on the quality of an article you’re publishing on your blog. But we have a duty to guarantee our advertisers the consistency and integrity of their campaigns and to see to it that the briefs they issue on ebuzzing are interpreted correctly. So it is incumbent on us to evaluate whether a post is within the framework laid down for the campaign, includes the necessary elements (eg links to advertisers’ site) and conforms to ebuzzing’s general
editorial
policy.
Do I have to publish my post on my blog
before or after it has been validated by ebuzzing?
AFTER. The article should be published on your blog only if we have
validated it. This means that each ebuzzing article which appears on
your blog has been approved, and you will be paid for it. Conversely,
if an article is turned down, it should never appear on your blog.
What happens if my article isn’t
accepted the first time I submit it for validation?
No tears, no shouting, you’re just notified, and most importantly
you get a clear explanation of the reason why your article wasn’t
validated. You can modify your article and submit it again for validation.
Why do I have to display the disclaimer “sponsored Post”?
ebuzzing has set out a
code
of conduct to make sure that the rules of the game are clear to everyone. We feel that it is essential that you indicate to your readers that the article they’re about to read is part of a specific marketing operation. For this reason, we have devised a little logo to serve as a “disclaimer”, to be included in your article.
It’s small, it’s cute and it makes it fully transparent
where you're coming from. If, however, you really can’t easily
include this logo, you can add the note “Sponsored article” at
the beginning of your post instead.
To find out more, read our
code
of conduct.
Can I modify my article after I’ve
put it on line?
NO. It really is important, for our clients and for us, to know that
your article will not be modified after we have validated it. To ensure
that this doesn’t happen, we ask you to publish your article
and then enter the URL. A robot then crawls your blog regularly to
check that the content we’ve validated has not been modified.
When do I get paid?
When your article is validated by ebuzzing, the corresponding amount is credited to your account under your “published” column. This amount becomes payable after 30 days, and will move into the “pending” column. You must wait until you have at least 50 euros in your pending credit before you can demand a payment.
Every
first business day of the month, if you have met these requirements, you can request payment. You will be paid by the 15th of the month. You will have from the first business day of the month up until the 14th of the same month to request payment
When your article is validated by ebuzzing, the appropriate sum is added to your “published” credit. It is payable after 30 days.
How do I request a payment at the beginning of the month?
Login to your ebuzzing account and go to your blogger area. In the navigation bar, click “payment”. If you are eligible to request payment, the “request” button will appear.
Click on “request”
If the button disappears, that means the demand was submitted correctly to us.
You can verify this by clicking “payment history” and checking to see if the payment status says “requested”.
How does ebuzzing pay me?
You first have to select a mode of payment, and then reach a minimum credit of 50€ (generate at least 50€ worth of articles).
When you reach this amount, you can claim a payment. To do this, all you need to do is to make a request through your blogger interface.
Payments are made the 15th of every month. If you request payment after this date, you will be paid the 15th of the following month.
We use Paypal as a method of payment for bloggers outside France. Don’t forget to provide us with your Paypal address (using your blogger interface) otherwise we won’t be able to generate your payment!
Do I have to sign a contract with ebuzzing?
Accepting the general terms and conditions when you register counts
as accepting a contract with ebuzzing, which remains in force as long
as your account is active.
How do I get access to the advertisers’ briefs?
To get access to the briefs that the advertisers have made public,
you must:
- Be registered on ebuzzing
- Have registered at least one blog
- Look in the “Campaigns” section in your blogger area.
Once I’m registered, can I take
part in any campaign?
When creating a brief, the advertiser chooses the criteria which blogs
must meet to relay the campaign. If you do not fulfil these criteria,
you will be able to see the campaigns, but you will not be able to
apply.
What is ebuzzing network?
ebuzzing network lets you browse the campaign briefs which the advertisers have posted, then apply to relay their campaigns on your blog.
You must choose the campaigns yourself, and the price set by the advertiser is the same for all bloggers.
What is ebuzzing direct?
ebuzzing direct lets an advertiser contact you directly to offer you the chance to relay their campaign on your blog at the price per article you have set, the price per article (or “call charge”) that you feel is fair for your blog. You can base your price on our suggested price.
Can an advertiser contact me directly?
Yes. Through “ebuzzing direct”, an advertiser can contact
you directly and offer you a campaign to relay on your blog, at the
price that YOU set. You’re free to accept or decline their campaign.
Can I contact an advertiser directly?
No. You can apply to take part in a campaign via “ebuzzing network”,
or accept an advertiser’s offer via “ebuzzing direct”,
but you cannot contact an advertiser directly.
Do I set my own price for articles that
I write?
With “ebuzzing network”, you don’t set the article price, the advertiser sets the price. The payment per article is the same for all blogs which qualify for the campaign.
With “ebuzzing direct”, you set a price (a “call charge”) yourself.
What’s an “ebuzzing direct” “call
charge”, and how do I set it?
When you register a blog, our robot analyses various traffic and popularity
indicators for your site, then suggests a price per article for you
to use.
You set the price for which you are prepared to write
an article if an advertiser contacts you directly. The price you set
can be different from the price we suggest. This “call charge” is visible to the advertiser.
What is the « no follow » attribute?
It is ebuzzing's intention never to mislead search engine algorithms by creating “artificial” popularity. We therefore automatically add the attribute rel=“no follow” to all links embedded in sponsored ebuzzing articles.
This attribute ensures that Google ignores the links when it crawls a page. We insist on the rel=“no follow” attribute in all articles because our service was not created in order to disseminate chained links, but rather sincere recommendations, and also because this practice ensures peace of mind for those bloggers concerned about their SEO status.
The attribute is added automatically, but we also check that the links created by our bloggers include the “no follow” attribute when validating posts. Our bloggers can therefore be certain that ebuzzing articles will not jeopardise their hard-earned search engine positions.
How do I contact ebuzzing if I have further
questions?
Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions. Just
go to our
Contact page.
Happy ebuzzing!
